In a lawsuit before the Chief of the National Green Court (NGT), the applicant, a resident of Hauts Kaas village, said restaurants, bars and cafes in the residential-cum-commercial area were hosting live music events on their rooftops. rice field. Mukesh Kumar, Deputy Administrative Magistrate (SDM) of Haut Kaas, submitted to the NGT that earlier this month joint inspections of bars and restaurants in Haut Kaas village were carried out by Tesildar and local police. Of the respondents named in the application, two of his bars were found closed, but one was found for allegedly violating noise pollution standards, along with other bars.
